Job Description:
Drive supply chain optimization with overall management in full spectrum of activities in Planning, Purchasing and Logistic functions
Responsible for production, material supply planning control and purchasing functions
Interface with various parties like internal departments, suppliers and customers on Purchase Orders, schedules and deliveries and other subsidiaries in the region for support in materials, products and equipment
Recommend and implement solutions so as to manage the entire order flow and ensure on-time delivery
Manage integrated planning and scheduling, purchasing, import and export, customer and logistical activities
Lead in determining optimal stocking levels, replenishment systems, required inventory control policies and procedures, management information system to support material availability control
Ensure on-time delivery to customers, timely acquisition of materials, order scheduling and optimum inventory control
Responsible for establishment, review and control of budgetary allowances
Direct usage of organisation supplies and perishable tools used by manufacturing departments
Specific Knowledge/Skills
Degree in Logistics, Management, Production or Engineering.
Min 5 years' of revelvant working experience in Supply Chain Management at managerial capacity
Possess excellent leadership, communication and interpersonl skills.
Ability to inspire others, resourceful and result-oriented.
Location
Selected candidate will be located to work in Bukit Minyak Perindustrian, Penang, Malaysia. (Pls note that interview will also conduct in Penang, Malaysia)
Others: Prepare to travel. Occasional work in Malaysia, China & India for a short period.
